Senior cricket on Kings Hill has grown from a wandering team of founding players in 2006 to the point where we now have a large membership of regular league as well as social players. Many senior players are also actively involved in coaching and mentoring junior players, a vital part of the club’s role in the community.
The club grew with the local area. The Kings Hill Pavilion was opened in 2010 and our Saturday 1st XI entered the league structures in 2012 and won their league title in the following two seasons to start our journey up the leagues.
In 2017 we entered a Saturday 2nd XI in the league, followed by a 3rd XI in 2022 and a 4th XI in 2023. We also added a second Sunday league team in 2025, after increased demand for Sunday cricket through friendlies in the previous seasons.
2025 also saw the first year of our Women's Softball team, an area we're very excited to see develop over the coming years.
There is a broad range of cricket available to players of all abilities and experience, including T20 fixtures, midweek matches and friendlies.
We typically run a preseason winter net program, and then club training gets started at the ground in March, or as soon as the weather allows.
