As we move into an exciting new era at Kings Hill Cricket Club, we would like to offer our sincere thanks to Nick McGeorge and Kevin Ambanpola, who have stepped down from their roles as Chairman and Treasurer respectively, after an incredible 10 years of service.
Over the past decade, Nick and Kevin have been instrumental in shaping the club into what it is today — a thriving, ambitious and community-focused club. During their time, KHCC has grown significantly both on and off the field, with multiple teams established, league progress achieved, a strong and expanding junior section, and the foundations laid for the next phase of development.
Their leadership, commitment and care have helped guide the club through a period of real growth and transformation. The structures, governance and long-term vision now in place — as we move towards a more defined, sustainable and ambitious future — are a direct reflection of their hard work and dedication.
While they step away from their official roles, we are delighted that both Nick and Kevin will remain key members of the club and continue to play an important part in our journey.
On behalf of everyone at Kings Hill Cricket Club — players, juniors, parents, volunteers and supporters — thank you both for everything you have given over the past 10 years. You leave the club in a fantastic position, and we look forward to building on your legacy as we continue forward together.

KHCC Chair
We celebrate and thank Nick McGeorge for an incredible 10 years of service as Chairman of Kings Hill Cricket Club.
Under Nick’s leadership, the club has grown into something truly special — achieving Tier 1 cricket, expanding to six adult teams, building a thriving junior section for boys and girls, and establishing an inaugural ladies team.
Nick has helped shape KHCC into a genuine focal point of the community, laying the foundations for the exciting expansion and development plans that will carry the club forward for years to come.
On behalf of the club, and personally as your Vice Chairman, thank you, Nick, for your dedication, vision, and unwavering commitment to everything Kings Hill CC stands for.
A huge thank you to Kevin Ambanpola for everything he’s done as Treasurer of Kings Hill Cricket Club. The hours, effort, and care he’s put in—often unnoticed—have made an enormous difference to the smooth running of the club. We’re incredibly grateful and will always appreciate his contribution.

A huge thank you to Nick and Kevin
On behalf of everyone at Kings Hill Cricket Club, we would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Nick and Kevin as they step away from their volunteer roles at the club.
Nick has given an incredible 10 years of service as Chairman, during which time he has played a truly pivotal role in the growth of Kings Hill CC. Nick has always embodied what a community club stands for – commitment, inclusivity and hard work, both on and off the field. Under his leadership, the club has gone from strength to strength, and he hands over to the new Chairman with the club in excellent health and shape for the future. His contribution over the last decade cannot be overstated.
Alongside him, we thank Kevin, a founder member who has served the club with distinction in a wide variety of roles including Captain, Treasurer and Junior Coach. Kevin has been instrumental in steering Kings Hill CC finances from a small village club to a limited company, helping to build solid foundations for long-term success. On the field, he has proudly represented the club leading by example and always putting the club first.
Kings Hill Cricket Club is a stronger, more sustainable and more welcoming club thanks to the dedication, time and passion shown by both Nick and Kevin. We are incredibly grateful for everything they have given, and while they may be stepping back from official roles, they will always be a valued part of the Kings Hill CC family.
