The school is an independent co-educational prep school for boys and girls aged 2 to 13, where academic excellence is combined with award-winning pastoral care. At Sevenoaks Prep sport is for all. The physical education curriculum begins in the Pre-Prep, where pupils are introduced to a variety of sports. The main sports for Prep pupils are athletics, cricket, cross-country, football, hockey, netball and rugby - with every child representing the school in regular fixtures against local schools. In their cricket programme, boys and girls play together in teams selected by ability, not gender, from U8 to the 1st XI. The school's games programme runs alongside regular PE lessons where pupils learn about the importance of health and wellbeing and develop their fitness through a range of activities.

They believe a child's happiness and wellbeing are crucial to their learning. Their small class sizes and family atmosphere enable them to build warm relationships with the children and their parents.
