Sponsor Spotlight - Sevenoaks Prep

Kings Hill6 Jul - 15:16

One of the new sponsors who have joined us this year is Sevenoaks Prep, and we thank them for their support.

You can read bit more about the school below. Or come along on Club Day on the 13th of July, where representatives will be attending and happy to introduce themselves to you and your children. And good news... from the start of the new school year, there will be a dedicated bus service between Kings Hill and Sevenoaks Prep.

"We are delighted to be sponsoring Kings Hill Cricket Club this season. As a school that places great value on sport, teamwork and community, we see this as a natural partnership. It is a wonderful opportunity to support local families and celebrate everything grassroots sport offers young people."
Aaron Bailey - Head of Sport

The school is an independent co-educational prep school for boys and girls aged 2 to 13, where academic excellence is combined with award-winning pastoral care. The school has been welcoming children since 1919 and is nestled in twenty five acres of beautiful grounds on the edge of Knole Park, it is the perfect environment for children to learn, explore and grow.

With a dynamic curriculum and expert teaching, supported by exceptional pastoral care, they guide pupils to discover and develop their talents. Pupils thrive both academically and personally, securing places at top senior schools and becoming resilient, thoughtful individuals ready to shape their own futures.

At Sevenoaks Prep sport is for all. The physical education curriculum begins in the Pre-Prep, where pupils are introduced to a variety of sports. The main sports for Prep pupils are athletics, cricket, cross-country, football, hockey, netball and rugby - with every child representing the school in regular fixtures against local schools. In their cricket programme, boys and girls play together in teams selected by ability, not gender, from U8 to the 1st XI. The school's games programme runs alongside regular PE lessons where pupils learn about the importance of health and wellbeing and develop their fitness through a range of activities.

They believe a child's happiness and wellbeing are crucial to their learning. Their small class sizes and family atmosphere enable them to build warm relationships with the children and their parents.

If you would like to find out more, Sevenoaks Prep's next Open Morning is on Friday 3rd October from 9.00am – 11.00am. To book a visit, please head to their website at theprep.org.uk
